General POLICIES

Dress Policy is strictly enforced.

Collared shirts are required for all Southern Gayles facilities. Cut-off tee shirts and denim jeans* are not allowed. Shorts and pants must have belt loops (no gym shorts). Soft spikes only. No boots of any kind are allowed on the golf course or practice facilities.

*Denim jeans are allowed in winter months. They must be fully intact (no ripped jeans or jeans with holes in them).

ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED. Violations of this rule will result in immediate dismissal and indefinite banishment from Southern Gayles.

Tee times are required at all times, 7 days per week. Walk-ins are accepted, but completely based on availability. Tee times are available up to a week in advance.

We strictly maintain an average pace of play of 4 hours and 12 minutes for 18 holes. Please be courteous and allow faster groups to play through.

Groups may have a maximum of 4 players. No fivesomes are allowed unless permission is given solely by the Head Golf Professional.

Please repair your ball mark plus one more on each green.

CART PolicY

All Par 3s are CART PATH ONLY holes (#6, #7, #13, and #15).

Carts must remain completely on the cart path at all greens and tee boxes. When the 90 degree rule is in effect, you may get off the paths once you pass the red tee box. Orange posts (30 yards in front of each green) indicate carts return to the path at this point.

Carts are not to be driven into WOODS, ditches, or any hazards.

When conditions warrant cart path only operations, all four cart tires must remain on the path at all times.

You must have a valid driver's license to operate any golf cart, whether rented or privately owned.

Privately owned golf carts must be insured by the driver and be approved by the Head Golf Professional prior to play.

NO RIDERS are permitted in rented carts before 3:00 pm Friday to Sunday. Even after 3:00 pm they will be subject to cart availability. We highly suggest that you call prior to bringing a non-golfing rider with you if you are renting one of our carts.

Failure to adhere to any policies and procedures will result in loss of cart and golf privileges.
